My client is a global financial services group operating in the asset finance and leasing sector. They are experiencing the most significant growth in their long history and are looking to hire an experienced operations manager to oversee client services, sales support, credit operations, and compliance. This role has arisen due to an internal promotion.
My client has a fantastic office on the Liffey in Dublin city centre. They also have excellent systems in place for hybrid working for all employees within the company. This is a very exciting time to be joining this group. You will be managing a team of up to 20 people.
If you have experience managing teams in client services/credit operations within an asset finance/credit institution, then this role could be for you.
Successful Candidate Requirements:
- Fluent English. Professional & confident communication manner, both written and verbal.
- Ideally, you will be QFA qualified, but you will need to be APA qualified in credit products.
- 5-10 years of experience in asset finance, leasing, banking or a similar role
- People management experience.
- Comfortable leading a team in a semi-virtual environment and using remote tools e.g. Miro/Teams
- Strong business writing, Excel and communication skills.
- Experience with process improvement and project management is essential.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong decision-making ability, especially in an escalation/urgent scenario.
