Due to continued growth and significant new business wins, our client is seeking an experienced Manager – Alternative Fund Accounting to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering exceptional service to a portfolio of sophisticated Alternative Investment clients.

You'll inherit an established team while helping shape its future, working closely with clients, senior leadership and colleagues across the wider business.
The Opportunity
As Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of Alternative Investment clients while leading, coaching and developing your team to deliver best-in-class client service.
You'll become a trusted adviser to clients, oversee operational delivery and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing Fund Accounting team.
- Managing a portfolio of Alternative Investment clients.
- Building long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of NAVs.
- Reviewing complex fund documentation and identifying operational risks.
- Driving operational excellence and process improvement initiatives.
- Managing team resources and capacity planning.
- Coaching and mentoring future leaders.
- Representing the business at client meetings and Fund Board meetings.
- Supporting new business onboarding and growth initiatives.
About You
You'll have built your career within Alternative Fund Accounting and enjoy leading people as much as delivering exceptional client service.
You'll ideally possess:
- 10+ years' experience within Alternative Fund Accounting.
- At least 3 years' experience managing people.
- Strong experience across Private Equity, Credit, Bank Debt, SPVs and Alternative Investment structures.
- Experience using Investran, Geneva or similar Fund Accounting platforms.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of fund documentation, performance calculations and regulatory requirements.
- A commercial mindset with a passion for improving processes.
- The ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
ACCA qualification is advantageous but not essential.
